PVC-T Series Antimony Composite Flame Retardant Powder

I. Introduction

PVC-T series is a new type of flame retardant compounded with environmentally friendly antimony trioxide after activation treatment.  The white powder can be used to completely replace Sb₂O₃, unlike zinc borate, hydroaluminate or other synergists.

PVC-T series has excellent flame retardant effect when used in PVC, and has the advantages of high temperature resistance, fine particle size and good dispersion.

III. Product Feature

1. Excellent flame retardant effect, can reach UL94-V0 (2mm) by adding 4%-6% in PVC.

2. Reduces the melt droplets when burning.

3. Environmental protection and cost savings.

IV. Application

PVC-T series is widely used in PVC cables, wire materials, PVC coatings, PVC artificial leather, adhesive tapes, paper and so on.

Application Example

V. PVC-T4/PVC-T6/PVC-T6B difference:

1. Whiteness: The whiteness of PVC-T4 and PVC-T6B can reach more than 95% of the whiteness of antimony trioxide, and the whiteness of PVC-T6 can also reach 85%.

2. Addition: PVC-T4 only need to add 4%, PVC-T6B and PVC-T6 only need to add 6% to reach UL94-V0 (2.0mm).

3. Price: PVC-T6 is lower than PVC-T6B is lower than PVC-T4, but all of them are much lower than the price of antimony trioxide.

V. Package Storage & Transportation
1. Transparent bag with inner poly bag, 25kg/bag.

2. Storage in cool dry place.

3. Transport as non-dangerous chemical product.
