I. Product Introduction

PPAP-S is flame retardant monomer with both carbon and acid sources, and can be combined with other gas and acid flame retardant monomers to form a highly efficient expanding charcoal-forming flame retardant system. It can make the material reach UL 94 V-0 (0.75mm), GWIT 750℃, GWFI 960℃ and other flame retardant grades, and pass the 70℃×168 hours water immersion test (UL746C), and at the same time, fully satisfy the requirements of environmental protection regulations, such as RoHS, REACH and so on.

III. Product Features

1. Good charcoal formation effect, high flame retardant efficiency, can be shared with a variety of flame retardants to achieve the appropriate flame retardant effect.

2. Higher thermal decomposition temperature, excellent heat aging resistance, adaptable to a wide range of processing techniques and application fields.

3. Excellent precipitation resistance, low smoke density and low toxicity.


IV. Application

It can be compounded with MPP, MCA, hydroxide, etc. It is suitable for reinforcement and non-reinforcement of thermoplastic resins such as PP, PE, EVA, TPE, TPU, etc. It can also be used in thermosetting materials such as epoxy resin and unsaturated resin.

 

V. Processing attention:

1. In the processing and use, in order to achieve the appropriate plasticizing effect, it is recommended to use a lower processing temperature, it is recommended not to exceed 230 ℃.

2. Fillers and color powder may have adverse effects on flame retardant, calcium carbonate, carbon black, phthalocyanine green and so on will lead to the decrease of flame retardant efficiency, or even failure, the use of fillers and color powder, need to be verified.

 

VI. Package Storage and Transportation
1. Packed in aluminum plastic bag, 25kg/bag.
2. Transport as non-dangerous chemical product.

3. Storage in cool dry place.
