Halogen-free Intumescent Flame Retardant IFR-18
I. Introduction
IFR-18 is an intumescent flame retardant belonging to APP system polypropylene, halogen-free, and is suitable for flame retardant system of PP, PP reinforced and epoxy resin. Compared with the traditional APP system flame retardant, IFR-18 has a lower cost of use. It also has excellent anti-dissolution and anti-aging properties.

III. Product Feature
1. Halogen-free, environmental protection, low smoke and low toxicity.
2. High efficiency. It can pass UL94-V0(T1.6mm) by adding 26%~28% in PP.
3. Excellent thermal stability. Targeted improvement of APP system thermal stability deficiencies, the use of the process of discoloration, black spots, foaming and other conditions have a stronger resistance.
4. Excellent anti-precipitation performance. Targeted improvement of APP system poor precipitation resistance, water-slip and other defects.
5. High whiteness. The whiteness of the product is higher than the traditional similar products.
6. Low cost. The product retains the space to reduce the cost and can be used with co-effectors.
IV. Application
Applied to flame retardant for home appliances, automobiles, etc. Specific application materials such as PP, PP reinforced and epoxy resin materials.

1. IFR-18 flame retardant is weakly acidic, pay attention to the compatibility with other additives.
2. A certain degree of vacuum must be maintained during twin-screw extrusion process.
