Through the utilization of a special intercalation agent, K100 is modified into OMMT, achieving an interlayer spacing of up to 3.0nm. By blending K100 and other materials for melting intercalation in a specific proportion, the monomer is inserted between the lamellae of K100, expanding the layer spacing and causing complete dissociation into separate lamellae. These lamellae are uniformly dispersed in the material's matrix, resulting in excellent barrier properties, increased toughness, and the prevention of material dripping during combustion. The vertical combustion grade can reach UL94-V0 (T2.0mm).
